Welcome to the waste industry!

Every day, waste is created by all of us—from households with food scraps and packaging, to businesses, construction sites, and factories. The waste industry is responsible for managing it all… safely, sustainably and compliantly.

This course walks you through the basics of our industry, explaining common terminology, a high-level understanding of the different waste types produced, common processes and the types of equipment used, right through to the legislative aspects that the industry must adhere to.

The suggested time to complete this course is 30 to 40 minutes.
